Heart Disease Numb Face- "Facing" the Heart
Of all the diseases caused to human organs, heart diseases are the most complex and the most difficult to diagnose and treat. Apart from being difficult to diagnose, if the heart diseases are not treated at the right time with the right measures, the victim could lose his life. The medical fraternity is hence concentrating on constant innovation for the diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases.
What are Heart Diseases?
Heart diseases or disorders can be categorized in three forms, namely, cardiovascular diseases, arrhythmia, heart valve infections and of course heart attacks and heart failure. Heart diseases can also be caused due to neurological disorders. Medical experts have found links between a stroke and heart diseases or heart attacks.
Cardiovascular diseases mainly affect the blood vessels and cause high blood pressure and blockage of the arteries of the brain, heart, intestines, kidneys and legs. A heart attack is caused when an artery of the heart becomes blocked. This prevents oxygen and nutrients from getting to the heart muscle. Most blockages are due to a build up of plaque (atherosclerosis) due to deposits of fat along the walls of the arteries.

Facial Numbness
Facial numbness is a very major symptom of heart diseases. In such a situation, the person's face gets paralyzed- partially or completely. His face can turn white and get devoid of any blood supply. The person is unable to make any facial expressions and cannot move any muscle in the face. All the organs on the face become weak and do not function up to the mark. This includes malfunctioning of the eyes as the person's vision becomes poor. He is unable to speak fluently and the tongue becomes heavy. The veins in the face get into a position of freeze.
Facial numbness can also be caused due to a paralytic stroke. However researchers have found links between the stroke and heart diseases leading to facial numbness.
