Exercise for reducing pain
Endometriosis is very common disease in many of the women. It is one of the biggest problems for women. Usually the cells grow inside the uterus but in this case they grow outside. It creates a severe pain during menstrual cycle. The pain gradually increases and becomes worse and worse as the months go by. This affects the reproductive system. Many of the women do not find any type of symptoms of this disease. Then it can be found only by surgery. This disease does not follow any distinct pattern. So it is difficult for a medical profession to know that a woman has the disease.
Endometriosis pain:
It is the most difficult symptom to cope with for most of the women. The pain can be constant or cyclical and coincide with woman's period. There are many reasons for Endometriosis pain. They can be a physical or chemical reason. There will be a pain with ovulation. The pain may be caused by inflammation in the pelvic cavity. There will also be a pain during bowel movements, with urination and general bodily movement. When one has intercourse there will be pain. But the most desperate pain is during menstruation. Many women dread having their periods. The women with Endometriosis undergo an emotional pain. This disease causes the emotional distress. The pain may be normal or suspicious.
Exercise for reducing pain:
There are many ways to reduce the pain. They can be physical exercises or mental exercises. Yoga helps in reducing the pain. This produces natural painkillers in the body. The breathing exercises can also reduce the pain. During exhalation the muscles tend to relax. Lengthening the time of exhalation helps in producing relaxation and reduces tension. During exercise the body produces chemicals in the brain. These help in reducing the pain. Ten minutes of moderate exercise allows the body to produce safe pain relievers. During pain they should not do hard exercises. Low impact activities help the women who have severe pain. Swimming, walking and yoga are the best exercises for them. The exercises help to relieve stress and tension. They also reduce the estrogen levels in the body.
