Bird flu News
Bird flu has affected many a countries and places. Especially, the Asian countries are most badly affected. There are many a countries where the death mortality cause of Bird flu has increased. Places like Indonesia, Egypt, and many other places are badly hit by the bird flu or the avian flu, as it is commonly known. Bird flu is not only caused because of the consummation of the birds but also with their contact. As for example the first person in Indonesia was infected of the bird flu because of the contact of sick or dead birds. This virus passed possibly passed to the family members of that person. Despite of all the tests and inventions scientists and doctors have not come into the conclusion that what is the root cause of the disease or the bird flu. Most of the WHO members are working on this project but till now no one has reached its root.
The cluster of virus
The cluster of the flu started with one extended family affecting the other side-by-side families that eventually killed seven of the eight members who came down with the virus. It is to be focused that the cluster was in fact the largest one with H5N1 bird flu virus cases. Clusters are looked on with far more suspicion than isolated infections because they raise the possibility the virus may have mutated to transmit efficiently among humans, potentially sparking a pandemic and killing millions of people. Basically the clusters have been found at the place where farming and livestock are the main source of food. It's easy to see that how difficult it would be to isolate the virus at a place.
Tests by the scientists
Blood work from two of the victims has proven to scientists that so far there has been no mutation of the virus that might result in a pandemic. Many of the experts working in the bird flu project believe that a mutation of the virus is inevitable. And they say Indonesia is the most common place because the government is not doing enough to either educate its 220 million people or cull the infected animals in a wide area when the virus is discovered. So far, only H5N1 has been discovered in 27 of Indonesia's 33 provinces.
